Introducing Tourism Exchange New Zealand Sales Team

05/10/2011
Tourism Exchange New Zealand Monthly Update:

We would like to take this opportunity to contact all of our partner tourism businesses to introduce the new Tourism Exchange New Zealand Sales Team.

Over the next few months we will be contacting every single tourism business connected to the Tourism Exchange to touch base and say hello. With over 1000 businesses connected this may take a little while, so if there is anything you would like to talk to us about please feel free to call on 0800 55 22 00.

Introducing the new TXNZ Sales Team

Andrew Wells - Senior Sales Executive
With a background in guided walking, Andrew comes to TXNZ after 9 years running his own tour business in the South Island, the last 2 using Frontdesk and the Tourism Exchange for online bookings and distribution.
"Over the past 2 years what I enjoyed most in my business was learning about the exciting world of online distribution and putting this into practice selling my own tours. Using Frontdesk and the Tourism Exchange online bookings went from next to nothing to my biggest single source. Coming straight from the frontline I love talking to tourism operators about how they can improve their online exposure and sales"

Rachael Sutton - Sales & Marketing Executive
Having come back to New Zealand after experiencing the best side of the travel industry, as a traveller, Rachael is now enjoying making her new role as Sales & Marketing Executive for TXNZ. Previous to her global adventures Rachael worked in customer service for Tourism Exchange Australia at our parent company in Perth.
"It's great to be back in New Zealand, I am really enjoying talking with a whole range of NZ tourism professionals and helping everyone get the most out of their own websites and online opportunities. "

We are planning a new series of tips and advice for tourism businesses to make the most of the endless opportunities that now abound in the online travel space. We will be in touch each month with news from the Tourism Exchange and resources to make the most of online opportunities for your tourism business.
