How you get paid

There are two types of transactions that you can receive via Tourism Exchange:

  • Direct bookings
  • Bookings via Distributors

Direct Bookings

Tourism Exchange can enable your website with a real-time booking engine and instant confirmation. Funds from direct bookings are credited immediately into your nominated bank account, upon confirmation of payment.

Bookings via Distributors

You can also receive bookings via Distributors that you have opted into via Tourism Exchange.

  • On Account Distributors manage the customer's booking entirely. They will manage all changes and amendments to the booking and take payment for it. You will invoice the Distributor according to the terms and conditions they have set in their Tourism Exchange profile.
  • Direct to Supplier Distributors "pass" the customer to the Supplier and take a clip of the ticket on the way through. The Supplier handles all changes and amendments to the booking. The Supplier also takes payment for the booking immediately into their nominated bank account.

Tour of how to get paid

Get paid with Tourism Exchange

Payments received through a Tourism Exchange enabled "Book Now” button on your website, will be credited immediately into your nominated bank account, upon confirmation of payment.

For distributor bookings via Tourism Exchange, the way that you get paid will depend on whether the Distributor operates an "On Account" payment model or a "Direct to Supplier" payment model.
