Atlantic Pacific American Express (APX) joins Tourism Exchange

30/09/2009

We are pleased to welcome APX as a distributor of the Tourism Exchange. On 1 September 2009, APX  amalgamated with BTI Signature Travel (trading as HRG New Zealand ) to rebrand as Atlantic Pacific American Express (APX). As one of New Zealand’s leading travel management companies, APX employs over 220 staff and has branches in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.

APX’s corporate accounts portfolio includes government departments, publicly listed companies and international partnerships. In 2006, APX acquired the license agreement to manage all American Express global travel accounts in New Zealand.

Like other travel management companies across New Zealand, APX has found it challenging to secure accommodation outside of the main centres across New Zealand.  They look forward to working with the Tourism Exchange to access a wider range of properties simply and quickly.

APX is part of Stella Travel Services, New Zealand. APX is backed by ISO9001 and have just been accredited 14001.

APX will be running an operational pilot of the Tourism Exchange Booking Centre from their Auckland office during October. Subsequently this will be extended to Wellington and Christchurch operations.
